I would like to remind people of why this thread is here. It was put here to warn people, not for an argument. Diablo did make the mistake of putting a classifieds thread up on behalf of hushpuppy, it was removed and he was informed why. I doubt Diablo will make another, so can we please move on from this now.

Mike and Bob did not say anything about this forum, another one of the stories to bring another person into his battle without their knowing.

If you look back at the posts by him he put Mike's animals from his site up on his posts saying they were his. I spoke to Mike and he cofirmed he just asked for a price on them. When I challenged our good friend about them I was told he had brought them and to "do one". He also talked about animals he could get, Mike confirmed at the time that no one had ever bred them. He used Mike to big his name up but foolishly treated him the same as all of us!!! He has been banned from most advertising sites here as a direct link to his claims of being a scammer on this site.

so before getting your bog standard dwarf retic (to be honest looks very flores sea region looking at the upturned triangle rhombs running down entire length as well as general colour pattern) and trying to pass it as something it blatantly isn't, please remember that we actually do communicate with people from these regions and can disprove and discredit you in a heartbeat. and now its been proved you are a scammer you should do the decent thing and disappear. or be banned as a known scammer either way i dont care.

thank you for bringing to the attention of buyers unscrupulous sellers who are trying to make money out of animals who are obviously NOT what they say they are... it also seems that people are linked in a small group doing this together and not just alone... its a pity when genyuine people are also brought into it.. peopel who were obviously only trying to do the right thing and be honest and above board..

I think though the forumites on RFUK are not stupid.. they can TELL what sellers try to make a fast buck and what ones dont..

as i said this poor guy grayson sounds faily unhinged... i mean if you are a master scammer surely you dont go boasting about it unless you want a whole heap of trouble...

however i strongly feel that...

the onus is on the person selling and it is no excuse to simply cry wolf and say OH BUT I WAS TOLD IT WAS A RARE SNAKE so im selling it as one.. if you dotn know be adult and CHECK... dont try to make a fast buck and then appologise later... the buyers will soon suss you out and realise that you are either no bothered about what you sell or you really are a scammer...

it makes the seller look bad... if a seller is unsure of what they are selling then thats also worrying and making excuses really isnt fair

If in doubt DO NOWT

and check first.. that way noone can accuse you of trying to scam anyone.. then everyones happy and noone can possibly say that a seller is a scammer...

At least now people are being made aware that this goes on WAY more than we thought

hey, anyone else get a threatening email from Larry Grayson?

For some reason he felt the need to send me one

the jist of it is that he is taking legal action against all those that have affected his business (hey...I wonder if HM Customs & Excise new it was a business?).

He did ask for all correspondence to be made via his solicitor, who I was only to happy to copy my reply in to....BUT

.......most bizzarely I couldn't actually get in touch with them, I couldn't find them via GOOGLE, so I tried Yell.com, then I thought I know, I'll ask a good friend who works for The Law Society The Law Society - Home BUT STILL no joy.

I thought they all must be crazy so I checked out the address but for some reason GL51 6BU doesn't come out anywhere near a 'bennets street', in fact I couldn't find a 'bennets street' in Cheltenham.

I must be going mad.

point 2 - please can all the needless pointless posts PLEASE be deleted? seriously? can we not drag each other down

RFUK is a effing great community of people with the odd (rare) one or two who spoil it. Noone here should be critisized, because hushpuppy is banned/gone capishe!.

my opinion:
can we delete all the argumentative posts that do nothing but make this thread (which as already stated by a mod) is here for notifying purposes? that includes the digs at diablo, I think if he was told by a mod then that's suitable... but some of the things said in this thread are quite derogitory and meaningless... unconstructive and monotonous. Whoever continues is only bringing rfuk down!

1. delete all posts (except those necessary which in my opinion was the first one or 2 lol)
2. lock thread (because quite frankly this feels like a bad episode of jeremy kyle

youre not mad scott i asked my friend whos a lawyer, i called her first thing this morning to do a wee check... now she didnt have much time but initially she cant find anything.. the sad thing is i dont think this guy seems very well just now.. perhaps hes playing out some kind of personal hell on the internet... ive no idea but just thought id share i did try to find out for you the self same thing... no joy either...

but it does sem like a very sad and sorry episode all round..
