Default Hades Dragons 2008

As many of you may be aware, I lost one of my female dragons a few days ago:

RIP Lizzie

She was one of the dragons that I had planned for breeding this summer, and was in the very early stages of being gravid, according to her autopsy. I have also decided to push back my 100% Blood Red project to next year, to enable it to coincide with my Blood Red x White Hypo and Hypo x Citrus plans. This will enable me to offer unrelated high-end pairs of dragons next year.

As a result of losing Lizzie, and postponing my 100% Blood Red plans, I would be down to a single pairing for this summer. I've thus decided to also postpone my Blood Red x Orange Hypo pairing, so I can take a much-needed break this summer before (non-lizard) things get too hectic in the autumn.

This means I will not have any dragons available this year. I am already making plans for 2009 - drop me an email or PM if you want to be added to my mailing list to stay abreast of what's in the pipeline.

Apologies for anyone who has been anticipating dragons being available later this year.

Andy

A very patient strategy.
Have a fantastic summer off, enjoy yourself and your Dragons! Although I do hope you'll still be found hanging around the froums...

Aww Andy, I'm so sorry you lost your girl! You must be so gutted

I think your doing the right thing by your blood girls I have decided a few weeks back to wait til 2009 until I breed my girls. Better to be safe than sorry as they say.

Your a dedicated breeder/keeper and when 2009 comes along I will be camping outside your front door

Shame about the Dragon, and your plans.

Did the Autopsy show the cause?

Thanks everyone - I still plan to stay on the forums!

Crownan, the preliminary autopsy showed an enlarged liver, which probably knocked her immune system a bit. There was also lung damage, so the vet put it down to pneumonia, accelerated by her decreased immune system. I'm still waiting for viral tests to come back to make sure though.
