Angry E-Mail Scammer

Hey gang, thot i wud mention to you that there is a scammer on here trying to get cash out us all.

Somebody is on here and giving or using our e-mail details to try and Scam us,

I have had lots of e-mails that i need to renew my hsbc account... so you go and put in your password and e-mail address. The thing is.... i dont have a hsbs account and i never have.

I just got one from paypal saying my limit had been emergency set, and that i had to enter my details to fix it.

The page is an almost exact imitation of the paypal page but the http adderss is different... and my paypal account actually says nothing about any limits.

Be careful guys..... i know its someone from this forum because i only use this adress for work and for RFUK.

BE VERY CAREFUL

Im pretty sure they use some kind of random address generator.

I get the same emails sent to addresses that haven't been registered to any forums or anything.

you have your email address displayed on the forum in your sig....

that's where the bots get it from...

mine's there, but it is as a picture, so technically should lessen the amount of spam I get, but that doesn't always work!
