Verified or not you are still protected and if the dispute is not resolved paypal will refund you and the seller will receive a negative balance which will give him limited access until he clears it..

No post Monday - its a bank holiday!!!!

I post quite a few items with royal mail, if they posted 2nd class (saving money) tuesday it should arrive by friday or saturday, rm state delivery 3 business days after posting though some of mine have taken up to 5 days.

If you paid for 1st and recorded or this was part of your agreement to purchase ask for refund of these costs so keep paypal dispute and claim for these if item arrives.

Royal mail service is getting worse, chances are, it has been posted but is lost in the system somewhere....... a parcel is only recognised as lost 15 days after it was sent, so give it a little while yet.
As for paypal, u are protected, but if the sender have emptied their account, there is no way paypal can give u a refund. It happened to me, the person I was trading with, was unable to use their account and as far as im aware opened another paypal account in a partners name....... so its not fool proof.

Im sure ur parcel will arrive, but if not, file the dispute with paypal, its the senders fault if they have not even kept a proof of postage to claim back from the post office!

I have escalated the dispute to a claim - I assume that paypal would then freeze any withdrawals from the account until that is sorted? - well I hope so anyway - as another forum member has sent me a pm saying that the OP admitted to scamming on MSN. I have a screen shot of the conversation.

I have the sellers email address and am considering reporting the whole thing to the police if the item doesnt arrive - I sooooo hope I am wrong

Yeah I think your right - to be honest its my own fault for being a sap - It didnt feel right from the start and it all seems to be getting worse.

they have already revealed themselves earlier in the thread, If the item doesnt arrive today I will make sure that other people know. If it does arrive it will be a big slice of humble pie.

also everyone keeps saying your covered by paypal,this is not nescisarily the case as i paid for something on here before christmas,opened a dispute and won i still have not recieved my money back as paypal will not refund out of their own pockets and the seller has no funds in their paypal account so no refund for me.
so you really want to get this sorted quick mate
