Only reason I paid him before was because i trusted the guy and he assured me he wouldn't scam me. Like I mentioned before he said bailiffs were gonna come around and he needed the cash straight away.

Never give money in advance, i know it must have been hard to say no when he's giving you a sob story but that's the sellers problem not yours. Hopefully you'll have some luck with the bank, they may pass his details on to the police.
To be honest the fact he wanted the money in advance and that all of his posts on here are in the classifieds selling stuff would have rung alarm bells with me. Also, the price at £110, if it sounds too good to be true then it usually is. I don't mean for this to sound nasty and this isn't just aimed at you, but some people aren't careful enough when buying from people on this site. No genuine users deserve to get scammed but unfortunately it does happen, people can always ask for proof of the sellers address if it's an item that is being posted.

I got a text from the guy apparently he is waiting for a mate to give him a lift to me. To be honest I have printed out all the pm's and the thread he posted and was going to go to the police and thought i would text him to tell him that, the moment i text that he sent a text back to say he is trying to get a lift to me.

What a p***k. He should give you the Xbox and you should get your money back in exchange for not going to the police!

You should ask for proof of his address, perhaps a picture of a recent bill, or say you are contacting the police now. If he genuinely is trying to get a lift he wouldn't have a problem with giving you the info.

Better still tell him i will collect it for you as i am local to him, i have plenty of old console boxes and packaging meterial to send it up to you, he is just stalling you, there is no way on earth he will drive that far to deliver it

Give him an ultimatum, his addy today so i can collect it or you go to the police

Like you said all he is doing is stalling, I have given him the ultimatum. Dont think he will give me his address though, I have all the details of the guy from the thread, to the pm's and his bank details so I'm sure he will get a visit from the police.

UPDATE: His has magically turned off now that I have asked for his address. I might just go to the police today.
