Most of our stuff sold within the first few hours of listing (including the racks)...only a few little bits left but had plenty of interest. I guess it depends on what your selling!

I do not know what it is like economically round the rest of the country but my local shop is innundated with people trying to get rid, as jobs are going, overtime being slashed (the only way round here to earn a decent wage) and the near constant rise in utility prices.

That coupled with people sometimes being unrealistic on prices; yes I appreciate that breeders may have paid large sums for some of their morphs expecting to make a killing when it came to their hatchlings but so did a lot of other people and in the market an item is only worth what people are prepared to pay for it.

For me now there are a couple of purchases I wish to make and they are there now on the forum but I have to weigh up the cost of the creature and then the fuel cost of collection and all of a sudden it is not as much a good deal as it first seemed, which means sourcing locally and with some of the more uncommon species this is not easy.
