can you get feedback on the itrader from PMs? I sell the majority of my stock through PMs , so my rating of 4 should really read something like 15!!

Unfortunately because of the possibility that people could rate their friends or falsify ratings the thread has to be public, so that the moderators can actually check that the sale is valid and it went through - no point having a feedback system to protect members, if it allows for rating PMs which might or might not be sales - as moderators cannot read PMs to check, and an unscrupulous person could cheat the system to get feedback

It's not a perfect system but I think it's pretty good at least

Is there anything in place to stop people returning bad feedback?

If I wanted to leave a timewaster negative feedback, is there anything to stop them from leaving it for me just because I left it for them? Surely it's not fair if everything's fine from my side?

Thanks

Technically no, just like ebay.. however if you think someone is unfairly giving feedback a moderator could assess the fairness and remove it if necessary

Would you report timewasters or just people that sold you incorrect items etc? People that have had you hold items for months and then said they were no longer interested?

It's just that we're not allowed to name these people so surely the only other way to stop them doing it to other people is to make others aware of the dealings you've had with them via i-trader?
