Very hard to tell, unless breeders are totally different to boa breeders.

I've contacted a few boa breeders and gave up on them.

They will just give you a price list with absurd prices, and on the day they will probably sell for half the price.

Also, there is this problem that in march they would still not have the offpring, so chances are the snakes for sale will be 2007 or older, so they won't be as cheap as the september / december shows.

So people who've been to Hamm in december, might tell you one thing, but when you get there you may find that the price is more expesnive than you thought.

Hamm is a city in Germany. If you want to learn more about it you can check here:

Hamm - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In reptile terms, the biggest reptile show takes place in Hamm 3 times a year (March / September / December).

So people go there to buy and sell animals and equipment related to exotic animals

Just something that has been bugging me for a while now.

Hamm is not overally cheap for anything to be honest, people expect to pay silly money for animals and it doesnt happen, yes there are bargains but dont go expecting to pay silly prices as it doesnt happen. Most things are at the lower end of private breeder prices but are often the same prices as here. Some things are twice if not three times as expencive.

The great thing about hamm is choice in one place and that for me is it. I have found all the animals i want in this country for better prices than hamm and i have the added security of knowing where the buyer is from and having them there for advice/information etc.

That's the impression I had after taliking to a few breeders that will be selling at Hamm, but still got convinced and proven by many here who have been to Hamm that I should be able to find animals a lot cheaper than here.

I hope you are wrong, and they aren't, even though I'm not going with high hopes not to get too disappointed in case what you've just said is right.

To be honest when i've been to Hamm its not the prices that are important really, its the sheer number of different animals available.
If i was buying royal morphs i'd probably be better off buying them over here
from an ever growing group of breeders or shops.
One irritating thing about some of our fellow europeans is their inability to
put prices on any of their classified ads.
It is an amazing show, and look forward to the september one.
It definately is not as cheap as people seem to think, but the selection is !
