Rob Clements built up our vivs a couple of weeks late also, (on the day he was due to be doing Mason's in fact)

He did a good job but we asked for a 2" plinth at the bottom and for it to be on casters, these never happened and also some of the runners were cut wrong and he promised to post correct ones which never happened either.

i ordered a viv stack of him, didn't want to give him a deposit as i wanted my stack asap so i stupidily sent him the full amount (never doing that again)

i have to date sent him,

20+ pm messages,
15+ emails to surreal snakes
and now i have his phone number (someone blagged him about a viv and got it for me)

here are the excuses

1) been ill (might be geniune)
2) cheque hasn't arrived (3 weeks for a cheque yeah ok)
3) no wood
4) glass runners not delivered
5) computer broke lost everything
6) mobile phone is dodgy
7) label was ripped off in transport
8 ) vivariums damaged in transport
9) courier lost them in the van

sorry i forgot this is still ongoing from november, at 1 stage he promised me before xmas if it kills him, (he aint dead by the way)

in the end i consulted a expert on these matters and she took over, she phoned him and represented me, as i have had enough,

after a few more weeks of excuses, and several texts, phonecalls, he finally refunded my money (today, 6/2/08 and i really didn't think he would...............

If anyone has wrote a cheque for a large amount it can still be cancelled by the bank up to 6 months after the date. It costs you around £15 and the bank dont like doing it but if it gets you your money back the stuff the bank.

Not if its covered by your cheque guarantee card they wont
