Default Enough is enough. Surreal Snakes/ Rob Clements

Ok,

Can I ask is anyone else STILL OWED MONEY by this man?

We paid a £200 deposit for vivariums, the delivery date kept slipping despite us informing him we did need them quickly when we agreed the sale. After the third or fourth (I forget) time of being let down for various reasons and considering that he did not even call us to tell us he wasn't coming we cancelled our order and asked for a refund of the deposit.

This was before christmas, as yet we have still not seen a penny. I have not gone public about this as I wanted to give Rob enough time to sort this issue out.

He is ignoring emails and phone messages. When he does repsond to an email I get a stock response along the lines of:

"I will pay some in tomorrow, I still have your details on file"

No payment to us has ever been made.

Is anyone else owed money (or vivariums?) from him? I am ginvg him one week to respond to my latest email, after which I will either be sending him a rec'd delivery letter and going to small claims court if he does not respond and/or driving the several hundred miles to his home address.

Is anyone else in the same position as me?

I ordered a stack off him back in october, which did arrive in december (a couple of weeks late)

However, I did have on order to come with it 2 light fittings and heat mats, which Rob said he would package up and send separatly so it wouldnt get damaged.
This still hasn't turned up. I tried at first to get him to find what had happened, then he just stopped replying to my messages, so frankly, I've given up and cut my losses there.

I can neither afford nor accept writing off £200, but I do see your point, if it was just a few quid then i'd let it go too.

I know lots of people got messed around with deliverys but I don't know if anyone else has financially lost out.

I dont think it's a matter of getting someone else to do it, I think masons biggest problem (and to be fair would be mine too) is that he's £200 down and nothing to show for it.

Eh?

I couldn't care less about the vivs, they are long sorted.

It's the £200 I want back that was paid as a deposit.

Rasperandy is in the same position. He will no doubt come and reply when he sees this.

Rasperandy is the one other person I knew about, we've been exchanging PMs for some time now about this.

Cheers anyway!
