I agree with the comment about selling a sick animal as a way of making money and getting rid of it.

Yes, they should have contacted a resuce or somone with experience who would be willing to put time into it and care for it.

As for the circumstances chaning then, they do often, living arrangments, money. partners i can go on.

But some people do sell, them a few weeks later buy again.

I know somone who is always selling and buying only keep a reptile for a few months. its very sad when they do this yes !

I imagine it's stressful for animals if they continuously sold on, it may confuse them also if people are always been sold on not letting them build a bond with any owners,

[quote=buddy;1365676]When folk have reptiles and they say there circumstances have changed they have no time is one thing that bugs the hell out of me

Now people like you that bug the hell out of me. My circumstances changed i had a baby daughter had to work more hours to afford it. So that meant i couldnt keep my lizards. Yes i kept my snakes as other family members help out with those and most of them eat better at night so i get the time to deal with them. Who are you to be saying its wrong. I cant wait till your circumstances change and you have to sell a few/all. Then you might realise that its not as easy as just get rid of them people miss the reps they have sold but the same as most people i would rather sell than neglect the poor reps

well, i was guilty of being a buying, selling and trading fool!.... but that's a great way of gaining experience with many different species. no harm done to anything and everybody won by getting deals. it's the only way to keep many different things without creating a zoo in your house. the same with fish..... nowadays i'm mostly content with my few animals. although.....
