its just my opinion dont go getting aggressive with me because of that this forum has gotten really bad with people doing that just because they have an opinion we all have them

i just feel it is unfair for that poor cham to be sold off into a new envioroment and be even more distressed when it could be at a vet being treated
im re-homing my sick cham too. so it that comment aimed at all of us who home a sick animal. my reason is because i dont know how to care for her properly and feel someone with more expereince will have better luck with her.

im selling my bosc because i have not money and have no choice.

i am not even going to explain myself anymore you are all taking this very personally but at the end of the day i am not saying you are bad people for selling your reps but selling a sick pet i dont agree with give it free to a good home who are experienced or a rescue .

if you did not read my 2nd post it said the people who sell using the excuse circumstances have changed when a week later they are buying more thats what annoyes me

the girl who has sold up all to cooncentrate on dogs thats fair enough she isnt getting rid of one for the sake of it to buy another

this will be my last post as you all take my opinion way out of all proportion like always happens on here i appoligise for those who were offended when i have worded my first post wrong obviousley to have so many offended but i have now corrected that by saying the people that use it as an excuse bug the hell out of me

agree with HABU there, if we all kept every reptile we have ever had how would we house them all? and also how would others get opportunities to buy different species etc other than from pet shops at extortionate prices!...i agree selling a sick animal is not the best situation but then again if the animal will recieve the treatment and care it needs from another owner then so be it.....as long as it`s in the animals best interest and a good caring home is found that is all that matters IMO

Everyone in this forum needs to calm down and realise what this place is actually for!! I've only been on here a short time and have come to realise there are people on this forum looking to bash others! Everyone thinks they are right and say words as harsh as they want when they are behind a computer screen.

In future why don't you aim for constructive criticism rather than bashing people for their opinion. Iguanaman, do you think you are great to bash one person when you haven't even bothered to read the post properly?

Buddy was not aiming her "opinion" at people who sell on reptiles regularly or people who have a change in circumstances! What she was referring to was people "selling" a reptile that is poorly. Selling being the operative word! Buddy then came back on to clarify this further that reps that are poorly and can't be cared for should either be taken to a reptile specialising vet or given to someone "free" with plenty of experience and time to care for the poorly rep.

All those people on here that look for an excuse to bash people for their opinion or even worse (and I have seen this a ridiculous amount of times) bash people for their lack of knowledge with reps when most people come onto this forum for advice.

My advice to all: If you read a post and don't like what you read, type out your reply and before sending it, read it over and decide if it in anyway helps the person it is being posted to (also make sure it doesn't offend). If it does offend or doesn't offer any help then delete it, forget about the post and move onto the next thread.

Maybe you should also aim your post at the OP as the wording of their original post offended me and others...as you can see from the replies they got

Well I read the post for what it was. Constructive criticism part: I suggest you take more time in reading the post and carefully decipher the words as it clearly says they should give the reptile free to a good home or someone who can care for it. And I read that as not to sell it!
