A Great Little Turtle
| Comments |
This turtle is very easy to care for given the correct living conditions... i.e clean water, good filter, a dry area to bask and a u.v light. My map co-habits with a cumberland slider and a large common plecostomus and have never had any problems between them. The two turtles sit on each others backs while basking and follow your finger along the tank surface. I got them for my girlfriend but i have come to find their behaviour very funny and cute. We could not live without seeing their faces swimming over when we get up in the morning. They get their name from the markings from the underside of their shell which are very pretty and distinctive.

1. Characteristics of the turtles... very fun loving.
2. Never have any problems feeding
3. Very easy-going towards his tank mate... another turtle!
4. Once the setup is correct they pretty much look after themselves.
