The best brand of heatmat out there!
| Installation and Operation |
Extremely easy to set up & install. Simply attach the heat mat where you want it and then plug it in & wait for it to heat up. I have found that without a thermostat, this heat mat will keep a steady temperature of 28 to 29 degrees celcius.
With a thermostat, you can simply plug it into the thermostat and control the temperature from a range of approx. 22 to 34 celcius.

The product performs superbly and I've never had any problems with any of the habistat heat mats (I have used/still use many over the years)

Great vaule for money! Wouldn't even think about changing brand of heat mat - I've yet too experience a single fault with one of my habistat heat mats (I've got six that I've been using for just over five years now and still work perfectly)

I have had to ask a question about a thermostat that I bought of them as the instruction manual was no help whatsoever and they were fantastic - replied within 24 hrs and answered my question for me.

Good Value for money

How easy to install? In 3 words, Plug and go.
I've decided to put in below my vivarium and it works perfectly. As with all Heat mat, have to be use always with a Thermostat (Pulse model is better) to make sure the temperature do not go to high.

It works well and the temperature is perfect and constant. You should just take care of how big is the vivarium you want to heat with it and the temperature you need.

The connection between the plug and the mat is big. So you can't put completely the heat mat below the vivarium.
Second thing, why do not create a system to split the mat from the plug so you don't have to unbuild your vivarium if you want to put in inside.

Great product

Easy to install simply plug in and place where you want it. However if you need to pass the wire through a hole or the roof of your tank you will need to remove the plug from the end.

I cant fault it. Works really well and provides and equal amount of heat across the whole mat. Easy to clean, simply use a damp cloth and wipe off the "muck"

well worth the money!

This heat mat is super easy to use its literally plug and go! providing you have the correct set up with the stat! a simple wipe down when ever your cleaning your reptiles out is sufficient enough!
Never has it burnt any of my reptiles, or melted any of the plastic RUB's i have used in the past! excellent for RUB usage!

This mat performs in my eyes as i would expect it to! i have had three in use for two years, and one over five years now and its still in use now with no problems what so ever!

GOOD STUFF

this product is excellent, no worry about this at all, its just a case of plug and play, make sure to keep this dry, however it can be wipe cleaned thanks to the laminated surface, instructions are accurate operation is child's play and as far as maintenance goes its just "keep me clean and dry and i'll work flawless", you can hook this up to a HABISTAT MAT STAT or other types of stats to keep the desired temperatures in your enclosure just right, i love these things, a must for any enclosure!!!

does exactly what it says on the packaging, my reptiles love nothing more than curling up on top of the heat mat and sleeping for a few hours, i expected this product to work absolutely flawless and i wasn't disappointed!

i think its great value for money, they come in a variety of sizes with prices to reflect, it keeps a nice shape, (flat) where as some other cheaper options can start to "ripple" after a while.

A great product

So simple to install, comes with complete instructions but its as simple as placement in the viv and plug in! No maintenance required just insure that any lizards dont have the oppertunity to damage the point where the electric cable connects to the mat.

Good product and value for money!

I have found Habistat products to work really well and there heats mats are no exception.
I have used several heat mats from habistat and they are easy to maintain and operate with no real set up needed.

They perfom well and last better than other heat mats I have used in the past. They produce a good heat flow aswell and this doesn't seem to reduce are repeated use which I have also found with other heat mats.

The mats are so easy to use simply plug it in and go. There not prone to fires and overheating like some of the competitors whom I wont mention! Use them with the habistat stats and you cant go wrong. There also very cheap to run due to there wattage so make a great choice ina lot of gecko enclosures. They also make a good radiator on the side of a viv for background heat.

Brilliant heat mat

Very easy to install, place it where it is required, and plug it in! No instructions with this one, but it's pretty obvious what to do with it! I have had mine for three years without any concerns. Efficient heating, and easily controlled with a mat-stat.
