Without any info on these i can only go along with believing they mean the south Asian species.
I have worked with this speices for over 10 years and they are one of the most rewarding lizars to keep. They are strong and gentle at the same time, they aren't fast movers but they sure can shift when they want to. They have such striking facial features and the colours they come in are simply beautiful. Photos of my own breeding adults can be seen on the forum. Having bred these 15+ times I can tell you they remain one of my favourite.
They sleep on twigs, often hanging off them in a very uncomfortable fashion. Even males of this species get on fine with each other. They do prefer to feed on grubs and worms rather than crickets, roaches, locusts and so on.
They love to be misted twice a day and I found they do better at lower temperatures such as 84f.
Breeding is very easy of these animals and little to no cycling is needed at all. A beautiful and worth while lizard.
