Useful but tricky to use.
| Installation and Operation |
I found the "magic eye" switch to be a pain to get used to. A mechanical timer would have been much more useful. As these are, you have to expose the magic eye to a light that is in a timer. The level of light intensity that switches the stat can be adjusted but this is of little help if you cant orientate a light on the magic eye.

| Performance vs. Expectations |
Once installed it works just as well as any other microclimate stat. No problems here.
|
| Value for money |
All stats are over priced when you consider most components can be bought and assembled for under ?15. However, most people don't want this trouble so I would say its a fair price for a complete unit.

I have never had a problem with the product that justified getting in touch with the company.

1. The "magic eye" is a pain to use.
2. No 'screw hanging holes' which would be useful for temporary mounting.
