Do the job
| Installation and Operation |
Very easy to slide between the vivarium doors. Doors are very secure once the wedges are in place. If you remove them gently you can get straight into the viviarium. They do the job!
|
| Performance vs. Expectations |
They work exactly as i expected them to. They stop the vivarium doors being opened and are easy to remove when needed.

| Value for money |
Worth it. Don't hesitate to buy. After my royal python managed to open the doors - i thought i'll give these a try and they are perfect!!

Super wedges!
| Installation and Operation |
Very easy to use - Simply place in between the two sliding glass panels on your vivarium. If you want to open your vivarium, then you simply remove before sliding the doors open.
As long as you are careful when removing the wedges, you should not encounter any problems regarding wear & tear. They will only rip is you are careless or have been using the same one for a very long time.
|
| Performance vs. Expectations |
Works just as I'd expected and does the job very well. I did not however, expect them to be as long lasting as they are.
Would definitely recommend to anyone with pythons or large snakes.
|
| Value for money |
Definitely value for money - You get several wedges in each pack and individually they can last months even years if careful when using them.

do a good job
| Installation and Operation |
very simple to use and they do what they're ment to. look smart and are affective at doing what they're supposed to. not had a problem with them and never had an escape while using one of these, although they're useless if not properly pushed in, because they'll just fall out.
|
| Performance vs. Expectations |
perform very well at what they're supposed to do, which is keeping reptiles in, NOT keeping people out, for that you'll need a proper lock. as long as your only using it for keeping the creatures in the cage, you'll be fine.
|
| Value for money |
cheep and simple, you can get the same thing simiar, but these are spesifically made for this, and it's not like they're expensive, so i'd say yes, they are good value for money.

cheap and effective
| Installation and Operation |
very easy to use they just slide in between the door panels and very effectivley stops reptiles from escaping by sliding the doors.
|
| Performance vs. Expectations |
this product does exactly what it is meant to do, along side stopping smaller reptiles escaping they also stop annoying rattles from the glass. Not the product for you if you are after security as a viv lock would be better, and if you have young children that could pull these out they again perhaps not the best. For purpose they are good.

good little door stop!
| Installation and Operation |
These are very easy to use. Just push them in between the two pieces of glass and thats it! I use them not only to stop reptiles getting out but for keeping my glass shut on vivs that ive been given with broken runners. I have found them to be of great use for this and also great for keeping reps in. Most of my crestie vivs have these just in case someone moves the glass.
|
| Performance vs. Expectations |
As its just a bit of plastic its not great for security but it does what its supposed to and keeps the doors shut. Maybe not good for some reps of a larger size. But for those that are small its great.

Cheap and easy
| Installation and Operation |
These are very easy to install just slide the glass closed and slot them in
|
| Performance vs. Expectations |
These are great at keeping animals in and brilliant if your glass is too close together for the key type locks you can get. If you want to keep little fingers out though id suggest purchasing another product! They can simply be pulled out so are not the best security you can get! I certainly wouldnt use them on any larger species of reptile who may be able to work them free.

Does the job, but not too well
| Performance vs. Expectations |
i bought these as my metal locks would not fit the viv glass, when they arrived i wedged the in the glass but found that i could still open the glass doors with them in. i think if you have small snakes that are not very strong these would do the job, or lizard. but for royals or corns and snakes that want to escape i would personally go for a proper lock.
|
| Value for money |
They are good value for money, a lot cheaper than a metal lock, but dont work as well.
|

Worth every penny
| Installation and Operation |
Simple and easy to use, you wedge the rubber between the two pieces of glass, do not need instructions to work that one out.
|
| Performance vs. Expectations |
Does what it is intended to do and does it well. I bought these after the metal viv lock I had purchased did not fit my vivarium glass doors. As I was not prepared to hammer the metal to get it to fit properly I decided on these. These are great to keep the snakes where they should be and there are no chances of it scratching or chipping the glass through regular use. These are great at stopping any prospective escapees leaving their viv, one downside to these though is if you have children it does not stop them getting into the viv. If you are using these to only stop your snakes from escaping then these are certainly the way to. They are an invaluable tool as I found out to my peril as I only had two of these and 3 vivs and yes the viv that didn't have one the inhabitant decided she wanted to explore the "outside world" and opened the doors on her own, clever little minx! Needless to say there is another one of these now on the viv. A simple but effective product that is invaluable for any viv, keeps your snakes in the safety of their viv and gives you complete peace of mind. No keys to lose and takes only a second to attach and detach from the viv.

The best vivarium lock I've found
| Installation and Operation |
Not rocket science to use, just ram it between the glass doors and the occupant can't push the glass open then
|
| Performance vs. Expectations |
They are excellent. The quality of the rubber is important as cheap rubber will slip, however these ones are tough and good quality. Since I brought them a long long time ago, they still look brand new, no discoloration, wear or tear, and this proves how tough they are. They also do not have any chance of scratching or even cracking the glass, unlike a key style lock, which I have found to come loose easily no matter how tight it is done, and the screw that needs tightening is capable of cracking the glass, as I found the hard way! I have used the on all my vivs and a once-escapee had never managed it since I switched to this kind of lock. They also mean that there are no keys to go and lose and no bits and little fiddly catches, just one chunky rubber wedge to put in/pull out. Ideal for any glass or perspex fronted vivarium. They get a 4 because they only come in white, which is fine, but choice is nice too.
|
| Value for money |
Well, their not expensive. And for the security they provide, I would call them a necessity. The way I see it, it's only a couple of pound and it ensures your snake isn't going walkies without permission, which is pretty important.
|
| Liked about it |
1) nice and simple, but reliable, security for the vivarium
2) that's all they do... so thats it.
|
| Didn't like |
1) could come in other colors, maybe to match the vivarium more.
