Pueblan Milk Snake

Pueblan Milk Snakes are banded with bright colours, this makes them an attractive species to own. They are shy and prefer to have small, tight hides to curl up in.

Underrated beauty

Comments Pueblan Milksnakes have to be one of the most commonly kept of the Milks. They originate from a small intersection of the states of Morelos, Oaxaca and Puebla in Mexico. Although not aggressive Pueblans especially when young are skittish snakes, that will musk and wriggle when picked up. They do calm down with age, but i have always found most Milks not to love being handled too much. Pueblans eat well on a diet of pinks and fluffs and grow fairly quickly. They are very active snakes and appreciate aspen substrate to bury and tunnel in.

Pueblans can easily be kept in appropriatly sized Rubs all their lives, but many people keep them in three foot vivs as well. They dont need special lighting and should be kept around 26c.

Pueblans are best kept singly except for breeding attempts, as hatchlings have been known to try and eat each other...Adults are usually okay, but for peace of mind seperate containers is the way to go.

Pueblans come in both normal and Apricot phases...with a really nice Halloween phase now becoming more affordable.

Liked about it I love their gorgeous vivid colours.
Easy to house, dont take up alot of space.
Feed really well on comercial mice.

Didn't like Very fast and hard to handle when young.
Likely to musk if stressed.
