Default ROTTIES FREE TO GOOD HOME! (Lincolnshire)

I got 2 Rotties 2 days ago FTGH. I was told they was good with kids and house trained, but they aren't good with my 16 month old just keep growling at her so I am gonna have to pass them on as I don;t wanna risk anything. If they aint gone by 4pm on the 26th I am gonna have to take them to the kennels

And before anyone starts slating about kennels (which I know people will) My daughter is more imprtant than ANY animal and would rather see dogs penned up than my daughter in hospital or a coffin.

I mentioned this on the other thread I think, but I'd advise you to take the dogs to a breed rescue where they will be properly evaluated and homes will be checked out.

A day isnt long enough for anyone to seriously weigh up taking on two dogs.

As I said you have to be very careful when people are looking for homes and give you a 'too good to be true' story.

They will most probably make someone really good pets, in the right hands, I've had Rotties for many years and I agree with you.
You are doing the right thing.

Good look rehomeing them and use one of the advised welfare organisations if you can.

My advice is the next time you are offered any dog FTGH take a step back and consider it for a few days.
There is usually a very good reason they want rid and it's not always an honest story you get from the previous owners.

I have given the link to someone who is looking for a Rottie, they have experience with this type of dog.
They would only be interested in the dog as they dont' keep bitches.

May i ask what happend to the Rotties as its now the 27th, just wondering if they went to the kennels to become an other victim of human error. I direct my comment to the previous owners not you..you tried to give these dogs a home out of kindness...but found out the hard way they were not for you.

They've gone now. I took them to some one who deals with Rotties and even she wouldn;t take them because the first thing the male did was growl at her. They have gone back to the previous owner as I wasn't willing to put my family in danger. I even phoned the RSPCA to get them to take them, and they wouldn't.

Sad to see these beauties go though
