does the black have a white belly? If not it is ebony related not black velvet, something new owner should be aware of if the pair are breeding.

I never said he was a black velvet only that he is black he is infact just a plain ebony male.

Actually he is a hetero ebony rather than an ebony which is jet black all over. I was trying to help but as you know what you are doing I'll leave you to it.

Sue please dont be hostile i know he is an ebony het but was trying to put it simply so that even those who were new to the world of chins would understand. Obviously you are experienced in keeping chins as well and i do respect that but feel you are trying to make it out that i dont know what i am doing or maybe i have just misread the way you meant your post and if that is the case i sincerely apologise
