Default Breeding pair of chinchillas

I have a breeding pair of chinchillas i am looking to rehome They consist of a black male and standard grey female. Molly may well be pregnant at this time and due around may or june. With them i am alsoselling their cage plus a second cage for Chip when Molly gives birth as he cannot be left in with Molly. I am looking for around £50 for everything but a good home is far more important They both have great personalities but Chip prefers not to be handled, neither bite at all Chip just tends to run away when you try to pick him up. Experienced owners only please.THanks for looking
Sam

sorry for hyjacking the thread but you may wanna pop these on chinchillas unlimited they should go faster on there plus i would hold onto them till shes had the baby she sholdnt be handled too much and the stress of moving could cause her to mis-carry if shes laying on her side shes def pregnant.

Laying on her side isn't a definite pregnancy sign - I had several females who would do this and hadn't been mated

I agree that maybe waiting to see if she is pregnant would be best before moving her although, understandably, if you need to get rid of them asap maybe put her into a small box with adequate ventilation and some nice fluffy blankets to prevent her moving around too much for the journey

Yeah I know that it isnt a good thing to move them when pregnant and i am not in any real hurry at the moment so in all likelihood she will have the kits before she goes, I must admit I will be looking very carefully at any potential homes before i let them go as they are very special to me hence why i said experienced owners only.

its a shame your so far away, i would have taken them. but i dont think such a long jorney would be good for them particulaly if molly is pregnant. good luck with finding a perfect home for them.
