Unhappy 15mnth Rotti & 7mnth American Bulldog - Manchester

Due to no fault of their own i am selling my 2 babys -

unforeseen circumstances means that i wont have the time that i think they need to give them the life they deserve (please pm for info as it is a very personal reason)

These dogs are brilliant - they love kids and are ok with reps, hate cats!

15month old female rottweiller with pedigree and DL Reg - not been spayed
Cheeka -

7month old Male American bulldog no papers - not been neutered
Bruno -

i am looking for £250 for the rotti and £100 for A. Bulldog

or £300 for both

Zuko

Beautiful rottie. I would be very wary of letting her go without spaying her first. She isn't properly registered (the DLR isn't worth the paper it's written on) and she could easily end up being used as a puppy machine. Shame they aren't cat friendly as I'm very tempted. (slaps self upside the head) <don't....need......any...........more............ ..dogs>
Are you selling them or do you need to find the best homes for them? If the latter, you could try rottie rescue who are uber careful about where they rehome and all homes are thoroughly checked first, she will be spayed etc too to ensure she goes as a pet and not a puppy machine.
I so adore rotties. Not a huge fan of american bulldogs though :-(

hi there, thanks for your comment

rotti rescue is in my mind, i dont want her to go as a puppy machine but it was my plan for her to have one litter before spaying. she can be kc registerd, all i have to do is contact who i got her off - parents are both KC reg and mother has good hip score

The A. Bulldog is great and he has such a laid back yet loving personality

cheers

Zuko

As a dog breeder, I wonder why they had her DLR and not KC reg then as I think it costs the same amount. Usually only puppy farmers and BYB do the DLR thing as they don't do any checks, hereditary testing, verify pedigrees etc like the KC do. With DLR you could breed your bitch twice a year for the next 8 years and register every litter. With the KC you can't breed her until she is a certain age, and you can only register so many litters in her lifetime in order to try to stamp ouit puppy farmers.
There really is no reason to let a bitch have one litter and every reason to spay her if you aren't going to breed to ensure she never gets a pyometra and has practically zero risk of mammary tumours.
If you get stuck I'll find some rottie rescue contact details if you want and pass them on to you.

thankyou for your concern

my mum is a qualified vet and zoolligist and i have been told the pros and cons about being spayed by her and 2different vets and it is my personal opinion for my choice of allowing a litter, there is reason and yet there is no reason not to- just as a woman with a full hysterectomy has no chance of getting ovarian, cervical or cancer of the womb.

there is no worry with the quality of her pedigree the breeders were first time breeders - brother and sister who both bought KC reg rotties and had a go at breeding them, they only dl reg them because the cost etc wasnt financially viable for them to do - as you mentioned why the KC register is more expensive to attain

are you trying to scare off buyers??? please if you would like to give me advice that could be detrimental to a sale pm me
