Surely they arnt that loud , my grey is forever chattering and whistling but my neighbours only hear him if the window is open.
I had a cockatiel that used to scream , she just wanted attention lol.
If you have to get rd of them due to the noise it scuppers your plans to get a grey really

the thing i dont understand i have a grey he is in the other room though and he hardly makes noise at all he mainly whistles first thing and last thing but he dont make as much noise as the 2 cockatiels?you can hear them with the back door shut in the back garden but still i dont think they are as noisy as some are?and it's not a constant noise either only when they get excited?

also they arent hand tame you can do stuff in the cage but they wont sit on your hands etc.

I guess if you're in rented accommodation it can be a problem. Still, I have a Blue and Gold Macaw and two Greys and nobody has ever mentioned them round here. My next door neighbour was chatting to me earlier and she said she only ever hears them now and again. And they are LOUD!

Be a shame for you to have to get rid of them. If I had space I'd take them for you, but I just can't squeeze another cage in now.

So have a bump anyway.
