Peach Faced Lovebird and big cage for sale - Gloucester
‘Rio’ – Peach faced lovebird. Thought to be female, approx. 8 months old. Very cheeky and playful, great fun to watch, will try and copy the volume and tone of your voice if you sit and talk to her. Although she can shout when she wants attention, her voice shouldn’t be loud enough to cause trouble – we’ve had her in a 1st floor flat and had no problems. Feeds on budgie seed, parrot mix and soft fruits. Rio can hold her own against cats – ours quickly learnt not to paw at her through the cage bars unless they wanted their toes bitten! Although she is not hand-tame, Rio does like to be allowed out for supervised flying sessions – she will return to her cage by herself when she’s had enough.
Rio comes with her own very large indoor cage in a cream and sage finish with two small sliding doors on either side, a large swing-open front door, slide-out drawer at the bottom for easy cleaning, and a stand on wheels with storage shelf. This setup also includes; · Two large wooden perches · Smaller perches made from treated twigs · Swinging plastic perch · Brass hanging hoops with a bell at the bottom. · Plastic nest cup – Rio likes to sit in this and also stores her playballs in it.
