yep you will need to bond with him whether you choose to carry him around or interact on the floor on his terms. don't forget, if he bonds with you as his main handler, that does not mean he is safe with strangers! they tend to bond with one person. ![]()

Hey Kelly, I have not been online for a few days, i got your Pm today and will reply in full in the morning. Dont worry about the great escape though alot of first time gambian (or pouched in general) keepers have had similar situations (myself included) and it has not caused any problems other than increased the "bonding" time.
Lots of time, and bribes (banana as you are doing) and you wil be fine, Just remember what pouchie has said about the one person bond, it seems to be a trend down here with us lot so I am sure it will be the same with yours. Will Pm you in the morning |
