From the first week in October, I shall be selling off prize winning canaries as individual lots. As well as the birds themselves, there will also be sales of equipment including that used in housing, breeding and feeding, along with possibly some actual food material too.

Photos will be be posted as soon as they can be taken. Visits to see the birds can be arranged but, please note, as I am allergic to aves, purchases would need to be from site, I am unable to deliver.

These are not common-or-garden canaries but, show-birds, and as such, will be sold for their worth in such circles. If you want a general "domestic" bird please go to a pet shop, likewise, they will be overpriced as feeders for reptiles!

Just a quick update on this...

I have contacted the BBFCC (British Border Fancy Canary Club) for records and photographs of previously exhibited birds as I do know for a fact that there are some in the collection which have been awarded best in their class, up to, and including, the most recent event in November 2007.

I will be away from this weekend for a week, and so, I will be unable to reply to PM's during such time.

As soon as I have photographs of each bird, I will post them up on this thread for interested parties to see.
