They are now 2 weeks and the 3 pink ones have turned out white. Although both the whites and the 2 black dont have very much hair at all just a very thin coating, nothing like normal rats have at this age, so their either gunna be semi bald or their hair may drop out.
I think although i only had a quick look i have 2 girls(whites) and 3 boys. I shall deff be keeping 1 girl and the rest will up for sale when 6 weeks.

Babies are now 3 weeks today and they are starting to loose their hair. Not sure wot i'll be keeping yet. They are all so lovelly.

Just thought id up date you all. All 5 of the rats have turned out naked, there are 2 blacks, 2 himis and a cream. Im keeping the 2 girs( cream and himi) and 1 the males(himi), but the other 2 black males are up for sale, askin £10 each for them.

She did raise all 17 but not entierly on her own, i did help out by puting in bread soaked in milk, which i do with my guinea pigs, which helps take some pressure of them feeding off the female, and actually none of them were really that small, i still some of the babies now and they are a really good size. Sorry if you think it was cruel. I didnt realise how many she had untill after 10 days or so as i just leave them aloan hiden in the nest, which is what they were well hiden and she was so protctive she didnt even like anyone near the cage so i did her food and water and left her to it. Then gave her a good rest between puttin a male in again.
