Why thank you lol. It's right though many people buy the animal and don't think ahead to things like vet bills. I recently had a £1500 vet bill for my Great Dane. Luckily I have her insured and it paid for most of it but even the insurance costs £40.00 a month.

exactly. the 1st two things i do before getting a new pet are, 1) Research research research!! and 2) work out a rough monthly expence then look into common problems with the type of pet and decide weather i can not only afford to buy the animal but weather i can afford to keep it and keep some money aside for emergencies/illness etc. and of course i make sure i can still afford to spoil them ^_^ hehe

p.s. every time i look at the piccys of him i fall a little more inlove hehehe

That goes without saying lol. I spend more on treating my animals than I do myself.

Awwww what a face.

Aye it isn't cheap at the vets these days. As Cassie is on medication for life now it's costing a fair bit a month as being such a large dog her meds are expensive. I mean £60 for a tub of tablets wow. Ahhh well they are worth it.

just to clarify he doesnt need medication anymore as hes finished his courses of meds, the reason he needed vet treatment was due to human neglect nothing to do with his health

aww poor cassie but even with that money going out a month, it means she is happy, and you cant put a price on happyness ^_^ hehehe.

i dont understand how people can neglect an animal... hell i feel terrible if i accidently catch my dogs tail when he is running around inder my feet! ^_^ they really must be totally heartless... i recon the penalty for neglect to animals should be the person/people who made that animal suffer should be made to suffer in exactly the same way!

She's pretty good generally it's just age catching up with her. She has a dicky heart, bladder and bowel problems but the meds seem to be doing the job for now. Don't you worry about her she's well cared for lol.
