Default GSD x Husky for rehome.

I hoped that I wouldn't have to do this, but after a long talk with Reiyuu this morning, we have decided it is for the best.

Up for sale/rehome is my 10 month old (born 4th of april 07) German shepard/Husky cross. Named Luna.

We had her as a rescue/rehome back in October, as she was going to be sent to the RSPCA, and we were looking for a 3rd dog to join our Malamutes. However now feel that she would do a lot better in a home that can offer her 1-to-1 attention.

She is absoloutly stunning dog, and doesn't have a single aggressive, or mean bone in her body. She is still very exciteable due to her age, but has calmed down so much in the time we have had her. She walks well on a lead/choke, and knows sit, both paws, and is pretty good with stay. Luna absoloutly loves playing with her tennis balls, she will fetch them for hours, she does bring them back, but hasn't quite got the hang of fetch yet. She loves fuss and attention, and would do very well as a only dog. But, she is perfectly ok with other dogs, and has never fought with our other two. She is OK with children, but I would not leave her unattended with a young child, as due to her size she may accidently hurt them. She has been socilised in our local area as much as possible and gets on well with everyone, and every other dog she meets, however, she is not very good with smaller animals (cats, rabbits, ferrets, rats etc). She does not chase them, but does hassle them when she can.
She is also a little escape artist. We have personally paid over £300 on new fencing to stop her getting out, and she can still find ways. You would have to be sure that your garden is secure.

She has been crate trained, but currently sleeps in our bedroom with the other dogs.
She has been vacinated, wormed, de-fleaed etc since birth, and was checked over by a vet in October to make sure that she has no health problems. She has got good hips and eyes, but has not been properly tested for either, though neither of her parents had any problems in the past.

She is marked like a Sable GSD, and though I have been told that her sire was a 100% husky, I have no proof of this, and as such should be taken for what you can see. There is a picture at the bottom of this post, and more are available on request.

Now for the down side.
Luna spent a lot of the time before we had her outside. As such she does not have very good "toilet" manners. We have tried our best, and she has come on leaps and bounds, however, she does still have the odd accient. She does not ask to go outside during the day, but if you keep a watchful eye she does have some habbits that let you know it is time to go out.
She also does not come when called from outside, and will often run away if you try to catch her. For this reason, she should not be walked off a lead.
She also seems to have problems with women. We have never solved this problem, and can not give any reason behind it apart from being an issue from her past. She is, however, getting better.
I feel that I have been honest with her flaws, and have made it obvious to whome ever should take her on that she is a commitment, and does need a lot of time and attention.

I am not looking for any money for her, however should the "buyer" wish to give a small amount it would be appriciated. I paid £150 for her back in October, and would appriciate a small amount, if only for the few items she does come with. (custom made collar, lead, choke chain, and tennis ball).

Finally, I am putting this here now. I am keeping this as subject to change. If there is anyway I can find a way to keep her, I will do so.

Luna;
