Take a look at my friends site, she'll soon tell you what he really is, youngest had her pom from Sue who has bred mutliple champions is a uk and overseas judge so knows her poms, just tell her schip told you to ask her about your guy. She nicked the name buttercup from one of my schips thinking as I wasn't showing the pom anymore I wouldn't find out - yeah right soon took the mick out of that one when I rang up to congratulate her on winning a title on that bitch with the stolen name hmmm!!!

i agree he looks slightly bigger but i dont puff him up like a puff ball i think there are different types of pom the standard and the toy and the teacup but he does look like a spitz lol

he looks identical to my mates pom and Bentley (mates pom) has all his papers. There are larger poms than the little ones.

Believe me he's not a pom he's a german spitz his muzzle is all wrong, the coat is naturally puffed up regardless of how or when they last had a brushing out.




This is our pom who's not had a brush/scissor near him since the night before Crufts when he went to do his bit. Anyone can give you papers as I've said on the other thread they are taken on trust by the KC but a pedigree is just a list of names that anyone can write out themselves.

At the end of the day folk will tell you a smallish hairy dog is a pom rather than a german spitz purely because they can charge you double the money. There is no such thing as a Teacup version of any breed its puppy farmer speak for 'give me ya money' coz I've bred a pile of shite and I'm about to con you.

Yes there are some really shite poms out there but at the end of the day as long as you've not paid pom price for a bad german spitz then fine coz its obvious he's adored. My objection is the misuse of a breed name for profit.
