Given that you can buy just about any insect here in the UK, I have yet to find a shop that sells a ant colony.

I once paid through the nose for a few ants from a shop in Germany, but they were overpriced, and okay, there was a Queen, plus around 12 workers, but I was looking for a whole colony.

Anyone?

I have heard of ants for sale for the ant farms you can buy but you dont receive a queen.

yes i think that was the ones i saw a few months back but they wasnt supplied witha queen to carry on the colony. your best of emailing them to check if thats what your after doing
