That's a Somali.

They were naturally occurring longhaired kittens from litters of purebred Abyssinian cats (the long haired gene is recessive) which have been bred in Britain since the late 1800s, but were "swept under the carpet" because of the undesirable long hair. They were developed as a breed in America and imported (which is ridiculous seeing as they were naturally occuring over here) into Britain in 1980. Harry is what is known as a usual, being a black ticked cat on an apricot base.

This is my Abyssinian - my first cat, long gone now sadly, but such a huge personality he converted me into a cat person!

my gorgeous, beautiful cat, Coco...I adore her!

And the father of Coco's 2 litters...he's kind of our adoptive cat, he always sits outside our back door, waits till we feed him then he's back off on his travels!!

Coco is lovely, always wanted a black cat. But the father of her kittens..wow he's lush got such a regal look about him, not quite sure how to explain it. Anyways i'm supposed to be going to sleep so shall stop noseying at kitty cats!
