Default Penny the wonder dog

Never have I known a dog as well behaved as this one, she is NEVER on a lead when out, doesn't need to be, she doesn't leave my side if I tell her not to.
She looks after my son like her own, and, when I knackered my ankle, even walked herself around the field (I drove to the gate, she ran around it for 30 mins and then jumped back into the car of her own accord)

Only thing she doesn't do is cuddles, as she was a severely beaten rescue dog (took her a year to stop cringing if she heard anyone raise their voice). I honestly think there is not another dog on the planet this well behaved:

Then we have my sisters' dog, which has the brains of a defrosted mouse:

BUT, will guard anyone she is with with serious ferocity (a dog went for my sister, Sammy, shall we say, protected her VERY well). She is another rescue dog, and LOVES water.

I will update later (when on the correct machine) with pics of past pets, wonder if I can find the pics anywhere.......
