Default GCC & Budgie Pics

Here's a picture of my GCC (Green Cheek Conure) with her first companion budgie, Tiny. He died about 3 months ago of old age, bless him. It's very sad that Jazzy loves budgies.. but she will outlive half a dozen companions.

Here are her 2 newest companions who she isn't really that keen on yet (only had them about 2 months), named Snowy & Bluey (the folks at the rescue centre named them - not me!)

And here is their home

Actually it's really good, the bottom just slides straight out and i take it outside and hose it down, the top beneath the play pen just slides straight out too. Took me almost 5 hours to assemble the thing when it was delivered in about 10 different boxes with no instructions from ebay though!

Fair enough . I have a budgie too and his cage is pretty big for him (not as big as that though) and he managed to get feathers and poo on all the bars so I have to spend ages wiping each bar down

Gonna go and get my birdie a companion budgie today - what a good idea.

Gonna get one with its own cage etc. to start with and introduce them gradually.

Kids want to call it Ethel........
