i had a doberman for years. his name was HABU. greatest dog that ever lived. dogs can be even better than friends or family. they won't critisize or complain. they love you reguardless of your station or shortcomings. their affection is truly unconditional. they live in the moment. we can all learn from their attutude towards life. never judgmental or condecending. they will always look up to you and trust your judgement. positive reenforcement is the only thing that they respond well to. exuberance is the plan of the day always. a good dog seems to know that life is short so you have to squeeze the very marrow out of it.....

I am waiting to see if I hear off this woman first, if I don't hear off her then I will be ringing the PDSA and RSPCA to see how I go about rehoming a dog. I'm not sure if you need to take id or anything so I think it's best to talk to them first. I know they can be a little picky who gets to rehome animals these days but I'm sure they wont have a problem with me; I have rehomed loads of exotics and brought them back to health after all.

Cost me £40 for the injections, and £30 for the microchip on my puppy, wasn't the cheapest vet in the world but one I trust... It would be an additional £80 when I want to get her spayed.. females cost more than males there to have the op, I think the male operation is easier! So if you get a puppy even if it's free/cheap you will end up forking out a bit!
Puppies also need to be wormed a lot as younguns, but it's only about £5 or so for the worming tablets. She was every 4 weeks until she was 6 months and then every 3 months. We also pay £15 a month insurance Well worth all the money though ![]() |
