Default Mice (for Ssthisto)

Bucks first ...

Born May 1st, approx. 25-30g: Ivory satin and "Burmese" (from cce BEC x ccchsilver agouti, ivory is obviously cc, Burmese is either cecch or ccch).

Siamese buck (one of). Born 12th April, approx. 45g.

And the girls...

Ivory satin, born 01/05/07. About 20g, I think? Not huge anyway. I have two of these you can have, possibly.

Silver agouti, born 21/04/07. Approx 35-40g. cch + either c or ce. I might have a PEW from the same litter. Both carry satin.

And I dunno if this girl is of interest ... agouti mismarked banded, possibly carries chocolate and/or albino. She's only young as of yet, but her sire is one of the typiest and biggest mice I've ever seen, so I thought she might be useful for you..

Those two are sealpoint siamese, from show lines. Beautiful big boys

And after Doncaster, Bullorrties... I'm hoping I'll have a fair few mice from my own lines spare, since I'm hoping to get some nice new blood into the group.

Might even have a complete litter or two that'd need to go, since new boys tend to kill babies/young ones if they think they're not theirs.

Nope, I don't have any siamese ... which is why I've been trying to get hold of some And since my lot are not show strain, most of mine aren't all THAT big either.

I do have dove tans, though

Yes, show strain mice have been bred to be bigger than your typical pet-shop mice (not least because pet shop mice tend to have the spotting genes - and spotted mice ARE prone to being smaller).

I may show someday, though I'll have to have a good, reliable strain of show quality mice before I consider it.

I mostly just want show-strain mice because of the size and temperament
