hi all does anyone know of any boxer dog training schools in or around the huddersfield area im looking for somewhere that deals with assocation (getting on with other dogs)my boxer hates other dogs with a vengance shes a rescue so dont know much about her past but we would like to get her a friend the oh thinks she gets lonley while were at work.

It may be hard to find breed specific trainers but an a.p.d.t trainer should be able to help you they have classes all over the uk... but may be a private consult with a behaviourist to address the dog agression they can tell you whats triggering it i.e fear,excitement, dominance then you get the chance to work on it at home and when out and about on walks ect before starting a training course where there will be lots of other dogs about and can be too much pressure at first on the dog with that kind of issue but its something you can do when you have had the chance to work with her...... if in doubt get out the yellow pages they will list trainers in your area there... or just google apdt as i cannot post links yet for some reason ?
