got them a month ago...

their tank

lifting up their log and this is how they always sleep, ahh they love each other lol

just waking up their legs always start moving first...

male having a wander..


sorry about some picies not quite got focus right hence blurring...i'll get better hopefully..

Just wondering i read somewhere that these can offer a real good bite and do fairly often as they really dont like being handled have you had any probs with them??

I used to have one, and the first day he bit me , didn't hurt, so named him Nipper..

Yieks! I've never seen anything like it!! Do people actually keep those as pets?! I'm being serious! Those pics made my skin crawl! Where are they from? What do they eat? I may come across as ignorant on this one but seriously I have never seen them before.. How big are they?

not had any probs with them biting they just secret this yukky stuff oh and poo on you lol. I must admit hammerman to not being overlykeen on them but son loves them and they were a present for him, they eat veggis and cucumber seems to be their favourite so easy to keep really..

I must me some kind of freak :confused: lol

I think these are gorgeous. I had a chance to handle them a few years ago at a place called Amazonia (Its a sort of zoo type thing for lots of exotic animals and butterflies and insects etc..) Anyway, couldn't help but give them a hold at the handling session... also got over my fear of big spiders when I held my first ever tarantula there.

You have to be really careful about the stuff the secrete though..the guy in charge said this can be very irritant to eyes atc... but all you have to do is make sure you wash your hands after (which you would do with any animal anyway).

They are really lovely, might get some now...
