Like I said the Water Cobras are mostly docile, except for Grumpy... Tailing cobras is not to big a deal but depends on personallity and mood. I would not do that with a Viperid

Cheers!

THANK YOU! I love cobras and was thinking about keeping false water cobras at one point. Real water cobras are pretty though but id be insane to keep them.

ive kept water cobras and they are beutiful but quite unpredictable

after getting nipped by a baby decided to concentrate more on pythons

the bite is quite painfull and does swell but tends to go down after a few hours

I take it that was a **False** water cobra that nipped you, rather than the elapid variety?

Cheers,

WW

A Nip from one of those babys would do more than stop you from food shopping

Which species?

You do know that H. Gigas, the false water cobra is not a cobra nor related to them. It's simply a reference to the fact they can flatten their rib cages in a cobra-esque fashion, while thye can inflict a painful bite you really would do well not to confuse the two!
