It was general concern actually. I read you wanted to go down the council and get a licence but didn’t know what to ask for encase you got a "dog with attitude licence". It seems that recently every guy who’s ever kept a beardy wants to get into venomous, and tbh it scares me.

If your seriously interested and planning on doing alot of research then good on you. There’s some very good caiman keepers about.

Some of the best research is trying to find someone with one and asking to observe and help.

No wonder there are so many people that buy things without doing research if they get slated for asking questions.
The stop slating people the bring up genuine concerns. You must have noticed the huge influx of people that suddenly want DWAL's. Most having a very limited experience. Doing the minimal amount of research will mean you know what DWA stands for. This is not a dig at the op, and im sorry if it sounds like it is.

To the OP where are you. I know a f ew people with caiman's that may be able to offer you some good experience if your interested.

I live in in hampshire near Winchester but would happerly travel to get some first hand advice and shadow a caiman keeper.

And I appreciate your concerns but am not your typical rep keeper I dont go out and buy a burn as it looks good then think oh poo its big a year down the line, even if I get a new Leo I always do my research first too many people dont and it really bugs me, so I appolgise for asking a stupid question but wanted to be 100% sure what dwa meant before starting off.

Just noticed you've had a caiman in your shop, do the dwarf ones require a license ? I remember seeing one in a shop in Shipley a few years ago and wondered.
