Default Arizona speckled rattlesnake

Hi I have recently been looking into rattlesnakes particularly the Arizona Speckled Rattlesnake.

I am interested as i read they are variable colourwise and have blue eyes.

I know these are DWA and i would like to learn how to handle these and where is best to go to learn.

I will not get one unless i am fully educated which could be a years time if i do get one at all.

I live in redditch south of birmingham could any of you point me in the right direction?

Yeah, they run a hot course, I'll be attending the next one

I've not got DWA yet, but what I'm doing is getting experience with handling rear fanged evil snakes (getting a brown tree snake), and attending as many hot courses as I can to get some real experiance with handling something so fast and dangerous

Hecky thump, we've had sooooooo many enquiries about the DWA course!

I'll push Rich into deciding on a date, it MAY be done in one go or we MAY split it and do vipers and elapids on 2 seperate dates. When we've sorted it I'll post a thread on here.

Kelly - yeah, you should pop over, the stock isn't brimming at the mo but Rich is away this weekend hopefully to get a load of new stuff in. If you're wanting to discuss venomous then I would wait until he is there. If you PM me to let me know when you're planning on coming over I'll let you know whether he'll be there or not .

Glad you'll be posting a thread to let us know when there's likely to be a course done... of course if you did one the week of the 14th of July that'd be fantastic <-- blatant self interest - we'll be down in Telford at least some of that week anyway

Thank you both, by the way, for humouring me, my partner Onissarle and my partner's sister and her partner on Saturday the 5th... we were there while the Egyptian cobra was shedding Fantastic animals and I really wish I hadn't had to come away without the lovely little Radiated I was holding; we definitely want to come down for the venomous handling course if we can.
