Just out of interest do they grow to like pond sizes or just remain in reasonably small vivs?

I think 3-4' is still "pond-sized" for a creature of that size. Don't forget that all crocodilians are semi-aquatic, ie they need to be able to immerse themselves in water at least some of the time, as well as needing a dry land area. Together that adds up to quite a large area.

Really I think you might need to put an extension on your house!
