Im not really into America species but i can certainly appreciate an animal like that, stunnning. Do you know which subspecies this is?

It's funny really, I was watching the "Deadly Reptiles" programme on Nat geo this evening and some guy was demonstrating how non-aggressive snakes really are. He found a Copperhead and poked it, trod on it, poked it with a stuffed glove on the end of a set of tongs and it only bit when he picked it up and squeezed it with the tongs. Yet yours is as snappy as anything. It goes to show that you can't generalise a species as docile or bitey. As i said on the other forum, she's really nice looking

thankyou mate, she came into Richs shop labeled as just a copperhead, but the general thought is that its a A.c.laticinctus.

yeah she really is nuts, she does worry me in the fact that sometimes she bites herself in the haste to bite the hook.
