Default When polled...

9 out of 10 Green Mamba's said they hate when they get a "pecker" caught in their throat.

Then I prefere the eastern African, I sore one on one of you vids and its was very well behaved. But you did mention your friend had put a lot of work into getting it to behave that way.
I still wouldn't be that confident.

This is the snake you're taking about. I didn't tape this part but I had to assist him to get the chick to the point where he could finish himself. He was on the floor with me offering resistance for him to push against while compressing the chick with forcepts. He/she was well mannered and tolerated my intervention without any theatrics.

Does that do any damage to the snake at all?

Well possibly...like you eating a dry crisp and scratching your gullet on the way down.

Well I've assisted royals no problem. But assisting venomous is one of the things that puts me off getting them. Just in case I had to do it.
I know I'd have to tube them. which makes it safer (not safe) but still with a mamba.
How did you learn you've handling skills????
