Venomous Keepers Post them Pics!!!
Well I guess the title says it all if you got em post em. We don't wanna see the same ol pics. Time to get em out and snap a few new shots. Yeah I'm gonna get in on this as well.
I also had a little persistence pay off last night. I finally got all well 1.2 of my white lipped vipers eating mice. The one was no trouble first feeding on her. The other two up till now would only eat tree frogs and anoles. That was getting a little costly so thankfully their now on fuzzes. Anyone with white lipped feeding problems Here is what worked for me. I turned all the lights off except the one in their cage took live fuzzes and placed them on a leaf under the snakes with tongs closed the door and stepped back. It was that easy I have tried tease feeding F/T and many other methods. The only way to get them on was live fuzzes. There is something else that was bugging me. Yesterday I was at the Hamburg Pa reptile show and someone was telling me the reason we keep hots is a macho thing. I didn't argue but with me atlest that is not the case, I keep my snakes for my own personal interest in the snakes. I cannot use conservation or education as an excuse. I do plan on breeding for my own personal interest and a little extra cash won't hurt either. M=y snakes do get occasionally used in an educational show but I kinda keep on the side lines. Anyway I don't think the majority of private keepers keep hots to prove something. I know there are a few morons out there but for the most part it's a genuine interest. I said I would post new pics but have been working insane hours and very tired. I make it a point not to mess with any of my snakes when I'm not running 100% I'm sure you can understand.
