Hi all,
I have a similar device I use to keep snakes at bay if I want to change their water without taking them out their cage. It is a foot square piece of plexi-glass which has a triangle piece of glass at the top, bent to 90 degrees with a three foot handle attached to it. I find it very safe to use as you can keep an eye on the snake all the time.

I never used that set up but have similar. Plexi glass deviders, sheilds, ect. The come in handy for routine maintenance.

i have a plit in the top of the viv were i can slide a plexi glass in and it cuts the viv in half so i can work 100% safe on one side then wait for the snake to go on the other side and do the same
