i think it's very much down to your local authority.
A lot (most probably) insist on you being able to see that the snake is still where it should be (ie in the enclosure) before you enter the room. And yes, it's public liability insurance you need, also worth checking out if your life insurance will pay out in the even of the worst happening. you may also need to pay a higher rate with a specialist for that too. |

the only guy i know with hot 's, has a glass/perspects cupboard thing inside his snake room, and inside that are locked vivs with snakes in. The glass/perspects cupboard thing is both alarmed and double locked. This was what the inspecter wanted.

exotic pet insurance they do 2 millionpounds cover for king cobra at 197 pounds a year so go to them thats who i use i think i pay 145 for the rattlers cant rember
