u need to set up an emclosure before you go about applying ok, u need public liablity insurance, and once set up u will need 2 apply, they will send a vet out who will critisise your stuff, say yer or no and then council will have final desision on weather you do or not...thats the basics from what i know ok

I'd suggest you drop Rory a PM for advice on this.
He'll probably give you a hard time but if you're serious then it wont be a problem.

From what i've been told (by someone who has a DWAL), the council can't refuse you a licence if you have an adequate enclosure. Could i enquire as to where you would get these cats from and any info you have on them? I always fancied a wild cat of some kind!

I'm not sure on cats but with reptiles atleast the definition of "adequate" varies wildly. That is where they'll trip you up if they want to.

Also you might need planning for the enclosure, which the council could refuse or drag their heels on.
