Default A lady and her Viper

Here's Dawn admiring our Gaboon. I cleaned his cage today. When ever I place him back in his cage he always stays at the front of the cage for a couple hours before settling in. It is now 8:50 PM. He's still out front, two hours later, huffing and puffing at all who walk by.

I do try to keep the glass clean. It's now 10:10 PM. He's still at the front of the cage. Hunkered down into the substrate a bit. Huff and puffing when you stop to admire.

I use a 50 watt black spot lamp that stays on 24/7 this maintains a very stable temp gradiant.

We love our little centerpiece( the sidewinder) a lot. That one has been most inactive lately. That time of year you know. Our southern pacific has already said goodbye for the year. About 4 days ago I built a nice tight crevace and the snake crawled in imediately and has not come out since.
