depends entirely on your local council.

ie the people who issue the PSL.

currently all employers have a duty of care under the 1978 and 2002 health and safety act ...

which includes
fire risk assesment
maintence
asbestos risk and management
electrical wiring testing
public liabilaty
employee liability
cossh
evac proceedures

and many many more.
to have dangerous item be it animal or property .

your plan must state the relevant first aiders who are trained in snake bite etc
action to be taken and in what order to take the action .
it must also nominate a named person who is legally liable under the duty of care act not the employer but someone to act in his/her stead(manager)
also if treatment is required by a hospital it must have a route already laid out to the nearest hospital if an ambulance is unavailable ..
and the correct tel nos on it to report to poisoning or envenomation of a person.
(depends on part of country you live )
evac of public and staff if necessary
capture of said animal

thats a very very rough guideline i had to work to in the public sector then theres aditional guidlines and law for the disabled or elderly

yeah basically your local council states what they require from you. A lot of councils will have random checks on you. You mut comply with the actions of the council how work in close partner ship with a vet. Good thing is reptile shops are exempt from DWA
